Training Courses on European Citizenship (2008 -2009)

Following the success of the EC Training Courses in 2007/2008, a new series of six European Citizenship Training Courses will be implemented from September 2008 to May 2009 (see list below). Each training course should gather approximately 25 participants from across Europe during one week.

As usual, these Training Courses will follow the curriculum developed by the Partnership. This curriculum will be adapted in order to take into account the evaluation and experience developed in the previous EC Training Courses.

The aim and objectives, as well as the target group of the Training Courses, remain the same as in previous editions.

The new Training Courses will be co-ordinated by the SALTO TC RC and the Partnership, and implemented by the National Agencies of the Youth in Action programme. 

Training Course 1:  EC-IS in Iceland 29 September - 5 October, 2008	Training Course 2:  EC-SP in Spain 26 January - 1 February, 2009
Training Course 3:  EC-BE/FL in Belgium-Flanders 9-15 March, 2009	Training Course 4:  EC-RO in Romania 30 March - 5 April, 2009
Training Course 5:  EC-UK in the United Kingdom 4-10 May, 2009	Additional Training Course in FRENCH  (specific recruitment procedure): EC-FR in France  1-7 September, 2008

How to apply?

• If you are a national from one of the so-called “Neighbouring Partner Countries” in Eastern Europe and Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine) and in South East Europe (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia), the deadline to submit applications was the 30th June 2008. People who applied will be contacted directly to inform them about the status of their application.

• If you are national from one of the so-called “Programme countries” (i.e. where there is a National Agency of the Youth in Action Programme), please follow the procedure described in the SALTO webpage:http://www.salto-youth.net/EuropeanCitizenship/
