Some project ideas developed during the European Citizenship training courses 2007/2008.

During the training courses, the participants in the EC TCs 2007/2008 have developed several interesting projects ideas related to European Citizenship.

Here are a few examples:

• Youth conference on “our Europe”;
• Film project documentary following young people in their local communities trying to actively participate in the decision making process, featuring frustrations and limitations.
• “Citizenship pass”: information office about the EU.
• European caravan talking on European Citizenship with people in the streets and with institutions;
• Youth exchange on youth participation in local decision-making bodies;
• Intercultural exchange to introduce the concept of European citizenship;
• Centre for EVS volunteer wishing to share experiences on European Citizenship and to have a discussion with local decision-makers about youth policy;
• Local activity for young people from the local youth council to discuss about European Citizenship;
• E-magazine about Human Rights, citizenship and Europe to develop a common sense of belonging;
• Computer game named my Europe about the European institutions;
• TC entitled “European Citizenship = European integration and co-operation”;
• Exchange programme to develop civic understanding of leadership;
• Game on European values “How to become a European citizen”;
• Meetings for young people on European Citizenship aiming at breaking stereotypes about Europe.
