Course implementation

The following groups and persons are responsible for the implementation of the course:

• Course Directors

The Course Directors are responsible for the co-ordination and supervision of the educational dimension of the course and for securing the interaction between all actors involved in the implementation of the course.

Rui Gomes, Portugal/Hungary, Programme and Training Administrator at the European Youth Centre Budapest.

• The Course Team

The Course Team consists of trainers with extensive experience in the field of European level youth worker training and in training trainers. The Course Team consists of:

Paul Kloosterman, Netherlands, free-lance trainer, specialised in international youth work, intercultural learning, working with disadvantaged young people, training for trainers and gender related issues.
Erzsébet Kovács, Hungary, free-lance trainer in the field of formal and non-formal education, specialised in international youth work, adult education, training for trainers.
Inge Stuer, Belgium/France, Educational Advisor, Directorate of Youth and Sport, former staff member of the National Agency of YOUTH in Ireland;
Mark Taylor, United Kingdom/France, free lance trainer, consultant and writer based in Strasbourg, specialising in human rights education, intercultural learning, international teamwork, and training for trainers.
Karolina Vrethem, Sweden/Bosnia Herzegovina, trainer specialised in youth work training in Central and Eastern Europe, presently responsible for a long-term training and education programme in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The Course Team is responsible for the design and implementation of the programme of all elements of this course.

• The Course Secretariat

The function of the Course Secretariat will be assumed by staff members of the secretariat of the Partnership Programme on European Youth Worker Training run by the European Commission and the Council of Europe:
