2009

Experts representing youth research, youth and labour policy and youth work practice from Bosnia&Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, UMNIK Kosovo met  to exchange information on the situation of youth employment realities throughout the Region and related youth policy developments, share good practice and strengthen links and networks between the stakeholders on national and international level. This event co-organised with SALTO Resource Centre South-East Europe and the Ministry of Education and Sport of Slovenia, Office for Youth, from the 22nd to the 24th October 2009 took place in Brdo near Kranj, Slovenia, within the Slovenian Chairmanship of the Council of Europe.

2008

Following up from the seminar in September 2007, 41 experts representing youth research, youth policy and youth work practice from Bosnia&Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, UMNIK Kosovo met again to exchange information on the situation of young people throughout the Region and youth policy developments, share good practice and strengthen links and networks between the stakeholders on national and international level. This event was co-organised with SALTO Resource Centre South-East Europe and the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Serbia from the 22nd to the 24th September 2008 in Belgrade.

2007

Seminar on youth policy development took place in Trogir, 13-15 September 2007. It was organised by the Partnership in close co-operation with SALTO Resource Centre South-East Europe.

It gathered representatives of youth research, youth policy and youth work practice from Bosnia&Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, UMNIK Kosovo and some other experts and representatives of the European institutions.

They exchanged information about and discussed:

  • Mobility and migration
  • Youth Participation
  • Education: formal, non-formal, informal
  • Un/employment
  • Family Life, Welfare and Social Protection
