The ASEF University Alumni Network (ASEFUAN), the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) and the All-China Youth Federation (ACYF), with the support of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is organising and calling for participants for the 2008 Model ASEM in Beijing, a conference and simulation of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), aimed at international students with strong interest in the political, economic and social relations between Asia and Europe.

The 2008 Model ASEM will take place in Beijing, China from the 25 to 27 September 2008.

Applications should be sent to the 2008 Model ASEM organising committee at : modelasem-apply@modelasem.org .

The deadline of application is 10 August 2008. All local expenses (hotel, food, transportation etc.) will be covered by the organisers, and all selected participants will receive a subsidy to cover (part) of their travel costs to Beijing, China.
