The Council of Europe - Directorate General 4 – Education, Culture and Heritage, Youth and Sport - is looking for three Educational Advisors for its European Youth Centres located in Strasbourg and Budapest.

News :

Age limit for applying: 35 years

Fixed-term contract (the total length of employment will not exceed five years)

Salary: A1-A2 grade depending on the professional experience

Who: open to nationals of Council of Europe member states

Key activities:

- Preparation, evaluation, reporting and administrative follow up of training courses, seminars etc in co-operation with partners working in the youth field.

- Production and editing of publications, research on youth policy.

- Development of educational tools and resources for intercultural non-formal education.

- Cooperation with the European Commission, its related structures and other external partners.

Competencies:

- vision on international affairs

- managerial skills

- degree equivalent to 2nd cycle of the Bologna process framework of qualifications in education, social sciences, humanities.

- three year proved professional experience in the field

- knowledge of European youth work and its structures

- ICT skills

- Planning and work organisation

- Information-seeking and drafting skills

- Problem solving skills

- Communication skillsLanguage requirements: very good knowledge of English and knowledge of French in oral and written communication.
