In 2005 I made a municipal model of youth policy (MMYP), based on main principles of the European Charter on the participation of young people in local and regional life (the European Charter) and my own 18 years experience, including hundreds of different projects for youth. There are 40 cities in Ukraine interested in MMYP, it was already accepted by some City Councils.In 2007 MMYP was named as modern and innovative mechanism of practice implementation of the European Charter at the International Conference with the Congress of the Council of Europe.

In 2007 pilot practice realization of MMYP ("Nothing about us without us", Odessa, Ukraine) received the Young Active Citizens Award of the Council of Europe. I had a great opportunity to meet European youth leaders and Mr. Terry Davis and Mr. Ralf-Rene Weingartner in Malmo.

As a member of working group I created a concept for governmental program for youth in Ukraine till 2015. According request of Ukrainian Ministry of Youth, Family and Sport, I'll prepare recommendations at the coming meeting of European Ministers in Ukraine this year. In 2008 I based Youth Participation Research and Development International Institute (International Youth Institute) with my colleagues, experts from Ukraine and Russia.

I'm very glad to find EKCYP and hope to meet interesting experts and friends here.
