Quality development and support to Euro-Med youth work

  • Training Active Trainers in Euro-Mediterranean youth work (TATEM)

Implemented in co-operation with the SALTO Euro-Med resource Centre, this training course aims to develop and consolidate the skills and competence of 30 trainers active with projects in the region with the view of developing the quality of training and the existing informal pool of trainers. This long-term training course consisted of 5 phases.

1. Initial training seminar (EYCB, Hungary, November 2004),

2. Practical phase

3. Consolidation and development seminar (Injep, Marly-le-Roi, France, September 2005)

4. Second practical phase (ongoing)

5. Evaluation and follow-up seminar (Essaouira, Morocco November 2006).

  • Long-term training course "Youth participation and intercultural learning through Euro-Med youth work"

This long-term training course aimed at developing the capacity of youth workers to plan, manage and evaluate sustainable youth projects. It also initiated a series of local youth pilot projects addressing the priority issues in Euro-Med co-operation (such as citizenship, environmental protection, women's rights, human rights). The course was implemented in three phases; an introduction and project development seminar in spring 2004; a project implementation phase and an evaluation seminar in 2005.
