1. The project or initiative is an activity in youth work, training and youth policy of a local, regional or national scale.

For international projects please refer to the SALTO Youth homepage (http://www.salto-youth.net/innovativeprojects/ and http://www.salto-youth.net/static/yic/)

2.
The project or initiative has to be implemented in practice and proved its applicability in the youth field.

Furthermore, the project or initiative should meet one of the following criteria, too:

3. The project or initiative innovates and contributes a new ways of applying youth work, training and youth policy on a local, regional or national level.

4. The project is a political initiative including legal activities and regulations.

5. The project or initiative receives private, local, regional, national or international funding.

6. The project or initiative is a good example of a reference model that is also applied in other projects or by other initiatives.

7. The project's or initiative's activities relate to one of the core areas of the partnership on youth between the European Commission and the Council of Europe.

  • Human rights,
  • Youth research and youth policy,
